Applicable Scope

Mid-Plains Community College affirms its commitment to promote the goals of fairness and equity in all aspects of the educational enterprise. All MPCC Student Code of Conduct policies are subject to resolution using the Mid-Plains Community College’s Equity Grievance Procedure (EGP) or the Judicial Procedure (JP) as detailed in the Student Handbook.

The Equity Grievance Procedure governs investigations where the act is based upon the reporting party’s actual or perceived membership in a protected class. All student conduct offenses not resolved through the EGP, will be resolved through the Judicial Procedure (JP).

When the responding party is a member of the Mid-Plains Community College community, the MPCC Student Code of Conduct EGP is applicable regardless of the status of the reporting party who may be a member or non-member of the campus community, including students, student organizations, faculty, administrators, staff, guests, visitors, campers, etc.
