The course will examine the organization of local, state, and federal agencies in responding to terrorist attacks and natural disasters. It will instruct the student on concepts such as emergency preparedness and management, governmental planning, governmental agency organization, risk assessment, post-disaster hazard mitigation, domestic and international terrorism, and natural disasters.
