Program Description

Information Technology refers to an entire industry involved in the use of computers and software to manage information.

In a large company the information technology department might be responsible for storing information, protecting information, processing the information, transmitting the information as necessary and later retrieving information as necessary.

PC Support/Network Technology specialization is designed to provide graduates with the skills necessary to troubleshoot and implement a course of action necessary to solve customer hardware and software problems, to implement and manage a local/wide-area network as well as support network users. The graduates will obtain the necessary skills to function in today’s business world with particular emphasis on the centrality of information and its processing and distribution.
